MEET BETHAN
Occupational Therapist / Owner
Bethan hails from the UK and has been fortunate to live and work around Australia before settling on the Sunshine Coast 10 years ago. When she's not working she enjoys taking her six children to the beach, going tubing, swimming and climbing mountains.
Bethan has ten years of experience working in the disability sector in Australia. She has seen how the roll out of the NDIS allows occupational therapists to combine the principles of engagement in meaningful activities with client-centered practice to allow individuals the autonomy and choice in directing goal focused meaningful occupations.
Bethan graduated with honours as an Occupational Therapist from the University of the Sunshine Coast. Through her work and personal experiences she has provided occupational therapy across different settings; indigenous aged and community care in a remote/rural area; aged care; primary health inpatient rehab; community NDIS services on the Sunshine Coast.
Bethan's practice has been inspired by the participants she has met. She is passionate about working collaboratively with individuals to develop creative and unique solutions to assist them to achieve their goals.

MEET SHONTAL
Occupational Therapist
Shontal is a compassionate and dedicated occupational therapist with a passion for empowering people of all ages to
identify and reach their goals through functional therapy. Shontal has received her Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (Honours) from the University of Sunshine Coast; however, it is her lived experience as a mum of four active children that brings depth and understanding to her supportive therapy practice.
Shontal is local to Gympie, likes to spend time with her family in the beautiful outdoors and has recently signed up as a student for drum lessons.
